We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Indirect Auto Loan Processor to support our Indirect Lending team. This is a remote opportunity; however, candidates must reside in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho as a condition of employment. This position will require weekend work, evening shifts, and occasional overtime based on business needs. The pay range for this role is $21.80$28.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

The Indirect Auto Loan Processor, also known as an Indirect Loan Processor, is responsible for reviewing indirect auto loan packets and ensuring new loans are entered into the loan system accurately and promptly. This position supports exceptional member service by confirming that each loan packet contains complete and accurate member, dealer, lending, and supporting documentation.

In this role, you will help prevent fraud by identifying red flags, verifying account and ID information, reviewing loan documents, and confirming underwriting, legal, and compliance requirements are met. Success requires accuracy, sound judgment, strong time management, and close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, log, track, and process indirect loan packets through the appropriate queues in the indirect lending software platform.
  • Review lending documents and contracts for accuracy, validity, and completeness, including contracts, purchase orders, title applications, bills of sale, insurance documentation, credit reports, verification applications, warranties, GAP documentation, dealer products, and vehicle valuation documents.
  • Audit incoming loan files for quality, accuracy, completeness, and potential fraud indicators.
  • Verify that underwriting conditions have been satisfied and clear conditions when appropriate.
  • Confirm that each loan file meets applicable legal and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate departmental spreadsheets and tracking records.
  • Stay current with operational procedures and complete required training.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with vendors, members, employees, and other business partners.

What Were Looking For:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in consumer lending, loan processing, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of consumer loan documentation and the ability to determine whether loan contracts and supporting documents are accurate, valid, and complete.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies, missing documentation, and potential fraud indicators within loan files.
  • Ability to review documentation, verify underwriting conditions, and apply sound judgment when clearing conditions.
  • Strong data-entry skills with the ability to accurately compile, record, and track information.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe, and business or financial systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, manage processing deadlines, and adjust effectively when workloads or procedures change.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively as a member of a team.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Professional and courteous written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience processing indirect auto loans.
  • Experience reviewing auto loan contracts, dealer documentation, title documentation, insurance verification, GAP products, warranties, or vehicle valuation records.
  • Experience working in a credit union, bank, dealership, or other financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of consumer lending compliance and documentation requirements.
  • Experience recognizing fraud indicators or discrepancies in consumer loan documentation.
  • Familiarity with indirect lending software, credit union systems, document-management systems, or lending workflow queues.
  • Experience using spreadsheets to accurately log, monitor, and reconcile loan-processing activity.
