We're looking for an Audio/Visual Project Lead / Senior Technician to help oversee our field operations and continue delivering the high-quality installations our clients expect.

Position Summary:

This is a hands-on position responsible for managing client projects from approval through completion while serving as the technical lead in the field when needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and enjoys balancing project management with advanced installation work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage residential and commercial A/V projects from kickoff through completion.
  • Coordinate schedules with clients, builders, designers, and technicians.
  • Review project proposals, drawings, and equipment prior to installation.
  • Order, track, and verify project materials.
  • Monitor project timelines, labor, budgets, and change orders.
  • Lead installation teams and provide technical guidance on job sites.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot A/V, networking, surveillance, and automation systems.
  • Perform final quality control inspections and client walkthroughs.
  • Train and mentor technicians while maintaining JL Entertainment Designs' installation standards.
  • Maintain clear project documentation and communicate project updates with leadership, clients, builders, designers, and technicians.
