Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Dominium's in house Architecture team focuses on creating permit and bid documents on multifamily projects for our Development teams. We are seeking a fulltime Architectural Designer III to support Architectural Project Managers on a wide variety of rehab and new construction projects. An ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual with a background in production, design, and graphic delivery. Experience working on multi-family projects is a plus. This position gives you an opportunity to grow into learning the business of Architecture.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Works closely with the Architectural Project Managers and Architects in creating drawing and specification standards.
  2. Responsible for creating production drawings to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  3. Assists the team in coordinating project information and timing.
  4. Works in a team environment producing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  5. Coordinates project efforts with jurisdictions and consultants.
  6. Eager to learn and know Code issues.
  7. Leads and mentors Architectural Designer I staff.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to lead project teams
QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.)
  • Professional degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam software.
  • Excellent communications and organization skills.
  • Has a high knowledge about how buildings get put together.
  • Ability to balance workload and deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong graphic and visualization skills to create design ideas and detail standards.
