Arc Zone Resilient Life Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients, including pre-crisis and crisis planning.
• Utilize clinically validated screening tools as appropriate to diagnose and formulate treatment strategies.
• Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavioral support plans that enable clients to thrive.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation required to meet regulatory standards.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, service systems, state agencies, and community organizations to facilitate care and resources.
• Promote the agency's mission, values, and principles in all interactions and during community outreach efforts.
• Engage in personal and professional development activities, including attending workshops and representing the organization in community events.
• Participate in agency accreditation and licensing processes to uphold quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support overall clinic operations.

The clients you will serve may include individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, substance use issues, and those seeking assistance with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. You will provide compassionate and personalized support aimed at helping clients navigate their unique journeys towards recovery and wellness. Your efforts will directly contribute to the enhancement of their quality of life, fostering resilience and promoting sustainable independence.

• A Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health field.
• A current and independent LMHC license issued by the state board in New York.
• Proficient in maintaining clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities based on professional expertise.

Prior experience working in a community health setting or with populations facing similar challenges is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development will set you apart as a strong candidate.
