General Summary - Manages student records and processing application data to prepare applicant files for decision making. Ensures data quality and integrity in various information systems.
Major Duties - Creates, updates, and maintains applicant records in the customer relationship management system and student information system by entering both text-based and numerical data from printed and digital documents such as transcripts, test scores, and other application materials.
- Prepares records for recruitment-related communication, application review, and student enrollment.
- Communicates with internal and external customers via phone and email regarding admission policies and procedure while providing exceptional customer service.
- Serves prospective students and families in-person during admissions recruitment and yield events.
- Ensures data entry accuracy by adhering to operational policies and procedures by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering applicant data. Provides feedback on inefficiencies and suggests updates to improve procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality of data and complies with data integrity and security policies. Ensures compliance with University requirements for all applicants in order to maintain institutional academic integrity.
- Assist with generating applicant communication and decision letters using various software.
- Assist with package shipment, mail receipt/distribution, folding and stuffing letters.
Minimum Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent
- One year's relevant experience.
- Office experience with data entry and databases.

Physical requirements and working conditions - Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
