Job description

Providence Place of Lancaster (Assisted Living) is seeking to recruit a dynamic Full-Time Nursing Coordinator / Hiring Specialist. The Nursing Coordinator / Hiring Specialist reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for screening, interviewing, and onboarding new co-workers. This position will also be direct care certified and will train new caregivers, assist with nursing processes, scheduling and manage open positions.

Starting at $50K, based on experience

Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, occasional evenings or weekends required. This position will be part of the Manager on Duty weekend rotation.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive “can do” attitude.
  • Enjoys training and developing new team members.
  • Well organized and able to work independently, and part of a team.
  • Abstract thinker, good problem solver and creative.

Education & Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or GED required.
  • Prior caregiving experience preferred.
  • Computer Software including Microsoft Office required.
