About the Role
Marine Components is seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment throughout the facility.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Respond to production equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
- Support facility maintenance activities, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, compressed air systems, and general building repairs.
- Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Assist with installation, relocation, modification, and startup of production equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation.
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety requirements while performing maintenance activities.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve equipment issues.
