About the Role

Marine Components is seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment throughout the facility.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Respond to production equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
  • Support facility maintenance activities, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, compressed air systems, and general building repairs.
  • Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Assist with installation, relocation, modification, and startup of production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation.
  • Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety requirements while performing maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve equipment issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in after-hours, weekend, or emergency maintenance activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
