Job description

Amazon's Global AmazonLink team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive leader to lead our efforts in expanding our integration platform. We are heads down in creating new, efficient processes that help all our external business partners integrate quickly and seamlessly with Amazon. We are creating a world class experience in automating business processes for supply chain and providing seamless integration with any order management system and file format.
Amazon Link team aims to automate all transactions with its partners globally. The AmazonLink Solutions team plays the most critical role in achieving this goal by maintaining the EDI technical standards, identifying integration needs and constantly improving the effectiveness of our B2B/EDI communications and integrations. Solution architects review system and business process requirements and define integration solutions to automate business process execution. Solution Architects also partners with other Amazon business teams and suppliers worldwide to identify new offerings and continuously improve the B2B/EDI integration process, current offerings, and data quality. Additional tasks include maintenance of the Amazon EDI specifications, mapping and supplier configurations. To be successful, this candidate requires mastery of a variety of proven technical, analytical, communication and leadership skills.
Key job responsibilities
- Build integration solutions to automate business processes for Amazon. Develop & maintain Amazon B2B/EDI specifications, mapping, and technical integration artifacts as well as supplier configurations. - Automate all B2B/EDI/API transactions with upstream suppliers and downstream customers using integrations technologies.
- Work with all other global Amazon business teams to understand their integration requirements and collaborate to build solutions for automation.
- Work with vendor managers and drive EDI adoption initiatives for vendors.
- Propose and drive initiatives to improve integration technologies and processes.
- Build standard solution templates for different business use cases and drive Amazonlink platform products towards self-service for customers.
- Manage integration projects and communicate directly with internal and external company resources. Continuously improve our integration processes and data quality. Drive and build creative solutions for challenging customer integration requirement.
- Responsible for documentation of business processes, solution templates, system processes and information flow, implementations of system enhancements- including capturing any gaps both technically and in the business process ensuring user acceptance- supporting end-to-end testing, problem-solving and training, using data analysis to back up business decisions, utilizing B2B/EDI function/message to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Lead activities to apply B2B/EDI/API and Integrations technology and exchanged information with the seller/vendor to contribute to improve operational efficiency and optimize business procedure.
- Deliver timely, accurate and professional technical support and information internally and externally; including real-time support, communication, escalation, reporting, defect tracking and root cause analysis of outage events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Knowledge of concepts like system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, electronic system design, and decision making
- Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON, or experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience designing & implementing B2B/EDI integration solutions to solve business problems. Experience understanding customers/business requirements and building integration solutions.
- Experience working with EDIFACT, ANSI X12 standards, especially V4010 and above, including Order and Financial series documents such as 850, 855, 856, 810 and others.
- Experience with EDI communications standards and protocols; AS2, standard VAN-based EDI, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, and Web services.
- Experience writing functional design documents, create/maintain EDI maps and specifications, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, working with external EDI partners, and testing interconnected systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (java, python, etc.)
- 7+ years of experience designing & implementing B2B/EDI integration solutions to solve business problems.
- Middleware business process workflow design and development experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
