AIRPORT SECURITY OFFICER
INCATech has an immediate opening for an Airport Security Officer at the Kansas City International Airport. FULL-TIME positions open with hourly pay increases at 1st through 6th year anniversaries, with paid training. Grow your career within the critical transportation security industry!
Starting Pay: 1st year, $19.64/hr; 1-2 year, $24.33/hr; 2-3 year, $29.76/hr; 3-4 year, 30.75/hr; year 4-5, $31.74/hr; Year 5-6, 32.74/hr (with additional $5.09/hr added to hourly rate for health insurance benefits)
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operating various passenger screening equipment
  • Communicating and performing searches of passengers as needed
  • Making effective and quick decisions in both routine and crisis situations while maintaining focus and attention to detail
  • No prior security experience required
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
Related Experience:
  • Must be a US Citizen, and 18 years of age, with a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate security equipment at screening checkpoints (including "pat-downs" and bag searches).
  • Ability to successfully complete required Computer Based Training (CBT).
  • Primary full time shift available is 03:15am-11:45am
  • Ability to pass a medical screening that includes hearing/vision screening (20/20 corrected), color test, blood pressure, agility, and standard drug screening.
  • Ability to obtain a successful background investigation including criminal and credit checks. Criminal and Credit checks that reveal any of the following will result in ineligibility for this position: Over $7500 of debt referred to Collections, any delinquent federal or state taxes or any past due child support payments, as well as delinquent payments on Federal Student Loans. Cannot be currently on parole.
