NOW HIRING – BAGGAGE SERVICE OFFICE (BSO) SUPERVISOR
Location: Dulles International Airport (IAD) – Dulles, Virginia
Company: Huntleigh USA Corporation
Pay Rate: $23.13 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Open availability required (must be available Saturday and Sunday)
Start Date: April 27, 2026


POSITION OVERVIEW

Huntleigh USA Corporation is currently seeking a Baggage Service Office (BSO) Supervisor for immediate hire at Dulles International Airport (IAD). This is a full-time leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment.

Candidates must have full open availability, including weekends, and be available to start on April 27, 2026. This is an urgent hiring need, and qualified applicants will move quickly through the selection process.

Services include aviation security operations, baggage services, passenger assistance, aircraft services, security consulting, and related airport support functions.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and lead a team of Baggage Service Representatives
  • Oversee daily operations of the Baggage Service Office (BSO)
  • Manage lost, delayed, and mishandled baggage processes
  • Ensure timely and professional resolution of passenger baggage concerns
  • Conduct coaching, training, and development of team members
  • Coordinate with Ramp, Customer Service, and Flight Operations teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting
  • Ensure compliance with TSA regulations and airline operational standards

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, push, and lift throughout the shift
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold up to 75 pounds or more

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (may be required in some locations)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have a reliable contact phone number
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and follow instructions in English
  • Must pass required drug and alcohol testing (DOT or Non-DOT)
  • Subject to random drug and alcohol testing requirements
