Security Aircraft - Part time

Position Type: Part-Time
Location: IAD 
Schedule: Flexible / Rotating Schedule
Weekend Availability: Required

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Aircraft Security for a part-time position to provide security and protection for assigned aircraft at the airport. This position requires working in a rotating environment, both outside door of the aircraft, including the airport ramp area.

The Aircraft Security is responsible for monitoring the assigned aircraft, maintaining a secure environment, and following all airport and company security procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security for assigned aircraft while on the ground.
  • Monitor aircraft access and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  • Conduct security checks and remain alert for unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Work both at the door of the aircraft and outside in the ramp area.
  • Maintain constant awareness of the surrounding aircraft and ramp environment.
  • Follow all airport, airline, and company security policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with airport personnel, airline staff, and other security team members.
  • Report security concerns, incidents, or irregularities immediately.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times.
  • Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
