Role Purpose

As a Menzies Aviation Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for unloading and loading of luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft, in the outbound bag room and the baggage claim area. Driving and operating small specialized commercial vehicles. Position requires: heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and frequent kneeling.

What you will be doing

  • Comfortably and continuously lift/move 70lbs of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft
  • Transport (Drive) cargo and baggage between aircraft, airport terminals, and air cargo facilities
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
  • Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Pass all pre-employment testing including a drug screen, FBI background, and employment history.
