The Senior Aerospace Quality Engineer serves as a subject matter expert supporting aerospace and commercial product quality assurance within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with applicable industry standards and customer requirements, while driving robust quality systems, product integrity, and continuous improvement across new and sustaining programs.
  • Represents quality assurance on new product start-up teams. Identifies any unique customer requirements for workmanship and/or traceability.
  • Subject matter expert that ensures compliance to MIL-PRF-38534 / 38535, AS9100, AS9102 (First Article), AS9145 (APQP/PPAP) specifications.
  • Must liaison with other ADI sites to support critical aerospace component failure analysis and corrective actions
  • Review and approve Customers PO clause flow-downs along with other customer requirements.
  • Focused on creating and maintaining quality systems policies, procedures, quality control processes and statistical techniques related to Analog's aerospace programs.
  • Support manufacturing MRB/TRB/Change request related to aerospace products.
  • Serve as quality lead for DMEA Trusted Supplier Accreditation.
  • Performs product, process, and system audits and verifies effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Support cross-functional teams regarding customer PDAAs and PCNs.
  • Is the point of contact for DLA for all QMLV activity and ensure certifications are up to date.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship (Required) Existing Security Clearance a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of aerospace and/or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-driven/tenacious self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Understands improvement tools such as: 6 Sigma, 8D, 5-Why, Pareto Analysis, and Lean Mfg.
  • Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Organized and excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a matrix reporting structure.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $95,600 to $131,450.
