Job description

Who We Are
As seen in TechCrunch, Forbes, and Bloomberg, TomoCredit is one of the fastest-growing startups.
TomoCredit is building the AI agent for personal finance. We believe the traditional credit system is broken - opaque, exclusionary, and outdated. Our mission is to rebuild financial access using AI, real-time data, and intelligent automation to help millions build stronger financial futures.
Headquartered in San Francisco, TomoCredit is led by one of Inc.'s Top Female Founders and powered by a team of talented professionals from companies like Square, American Express, and Lending Club. We value passionate, grounded, and "can-do" individuals who are detail-oriented while keeping the big picture in focus.
We're looking for someone who thrives on getting things done - someone who sees obstacles as opportunities and tackles them with grit and creativity. If you're excited by the challenge of converting millions of users into financially empowered customers, we want to hear from you.
Please note: This is a full-time, onsite position based in our San Francisco headquarters.
About the Role
We are hiring a Growth Marketing Lead - Activation & Conversion to own and accelerate our mission.
This is a hands-on, revenue-driving role.
You will:
  • Build and optimize lifecycle flows across email, SMS, push, and in-app
  • Own activation, paid conversion, and engagement metrics
  • This role sits at the intersection of AI, growth, and personal finance - and directly impacts company revenue.
  • Leverage AI to improve targeting, personalization, and experimentation
  • Move fast, test aggressively, and scale what works
What You'll Own
Activation & Conversion Engine
Design and execute the growth strategy that converts prospects into paid customers.
Hands-On Lifecycle Execution
Build and launch campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging. Write copy, set up segments, QA flows, and ship quickly.
AI-Powered Personalization
Partner with Product and Data to implement AI-driven targeting, predictive segmentation, and intelligent messaging.
Rapid Experimentation
Run continuous A/B tests across incentives, messaging, timing, and channel orchestration. Improve conversion week over week.
Funnel Optimization
Deeply understand onboarding friction and conversion barriers. Identify high-intent cohorts and unlock conversion lifts.
Martech & Data Ownership
Operate tools like Braze, Hightouch, HubSpot, and analytics platforms. Work closely with engineering to improve automation and personalization.
Who You Are
Builder First.
Experience
  • 2-5+ years in growth, lifecycle, CRM, or performance marketing for consumer digital products.
  • Strong preference for AI, FinTech, consumer tech, or subscription businesses.
Proven Operator
  • You've directly improved activation or paid conversion metrics.
  • You have personally built and launched multi-channel lifecycle campaigns.
  • You're comfortable getting into the platform and executing yourself.
Experimentation-Obsessed
  • Deep experience running A/B tests and reading results.
  • Comfortable making decisions with incomplete data.
Data Fluent
  • Familiar with analytics platforms (GA4, Looker, etc.).
  • Understand funnel math, CAC-to-LTV dynamics, and cohort behavior.
Startup Mindset
  • You prefer execution over meetings.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • You want direct ownership of revenue impact.
Why Join Us
  • Own a mission-critical growth function at a rapidly scaling AI company.
  • Drive measurable impact on funded conversion and revenue growth.
  • Work in-person alongside a high-caliber team in our San Francisco HQ.
  • Competitive compensation, equity, and full benefits.
  • Build something meaningful while helping millions access modern financial tools.
Our Commitment to Diversity
TomoCredit is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, regardless of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status.
