Can you make $500,000 a year as an accountant?

Full-time accountants typically earn between $50,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and specialization. Earning $500,000 a year is uncommon and usually requires senior roles such as CFO, partner in an accounting firm, or extensive experience in high-level financial management. Achieving such a salary often involves additional responsibilities, certifications, and a strong professional network.

Can you make $100,000 as an accountant?

Full-time accountants can earn $100,000 or more annually, especially with experience, advanced certifications like CPA, and in high-demand industries or locations. Time management and prioritization skills are especially important to handle the volume of tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
