Due to a promotion, we are seeking a Sanitation Tech!

Job Summary

  • Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 5am - 3:30pm 
  • Location: 16800 SE Evelyn St, Clackamas
  • Starting pay:  $ 19/hour, more for experienced Sanitation Techs
  • 3 weeks of PTO to start, 
  • Plus 9 floating Holidays!

The Sanitation Technician is responsible to ensure the equipment, conveyors and facility are cleaned and verify that all cleaning practices are being followed.  This position will clean and/or sanitize all equipment including food contact surfaces following strict standard operating procedures, strict good manufacturing procedures and strict food safety laws and accurately document the procedures.   Will perform cleaning and sanitation duties for multiple departments under time sensitive conditions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleans the beverage processing equipment and manufacturing equipment, COP (clean out of place) and CIP (clean in place).
  • Removes machine guards and accessories.
  • Cleans floors and conveyors around machines.
  • Uses floor scrubber/sweeper in warehouse areas
  • Pasteurizer cleaning
  • Pressure washing
  • Grease removal under fillers 

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • 1 – 3 months of experience working in a manufacturing setting; experience in food or beverage manufacturing is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English
  • Basic math
  • Demonstrated history of being reliable and dependable
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
