What is a full time 68W Army?

Full Time 68W Army personnel are Army Combat Medics who serve in an active duty capacity. Their primary role is to provide emergency medical treatment on the battlefield, assist with healthcare administration, and support medical readiness for soldiers. 68Ws are trained in trauma care, basic medical procedures, and often work in hospitals or field environments. Being full time means they serve as their main occupation, rather than as part-time reservists or National Guard members.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time 68W Army?
