Graham is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to join our team at our Corporate Office. This is a full-time position based in Calgary with work from home availability

Reporting to the Development and Integration Manager, position will be a part of a dynamic software development team responsible for supporting Graham by maintaining existing in-house built software and later transforming the same software into next generation web application(s).  Opportunity will be provided to assist the gateway development team in maintaining and transforming an in-house navigation web application.

 

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site 

 

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React.js and C# (React.js frontend, .NET REST APIs middleware and SQL Server backend)

Deliver high-quality, unit-tested code aligned with CI/CD deployment practices

Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to solutions, planning, and task execution, and take end-to-end ownership of features from design through development

Manage and report progress on assigned stories and tasks in an Agile environment

Provide timely support and resolution for software issues and tickets, working both independently and within a team

 

The Right Tools for the Job 

 

Experience & Education:

  • 3+ years of professional experience building full-stack web applications, with working knowledge of a three-tier architecture.
  • Completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school; degree or diploma in Technical Software, Computer Science, or Software Engineering is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Professional experience with React and TypeScript (or strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with demonstrated readiness to work in a ReactJS codebase.)
  • REST API building and consuming experience with integration into product features.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes, software/application lifecycle and software version control processes are an asset.
  • Experience with unit testing, debugging / troubleshooting and strong problem-solving skills
