PRN - Fulfillment Operations Pharmacy Technician

Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic PRN Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.

Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (10448 Lakeridge Parkway Ashland, VA 23005)

Compensation: Starting at $17 - $19/hr (dependent upon experience)

Schedule: PRN – 1st Shift (8:00 am – 3:00 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, your responsibilities will include operating our cutting-edge Paxit automated Packaging and Dispensing equipment, fulfilling Bulk Prescriptions, and staging finished items for shipment to our valued customers. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with and support various areas within the pharmacy operations as needed.

Fulfillment Operations Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:

  • Operate and troubleshoot Paxit packaging and dispensing equipment.
  • Set up packaging lots and follow inventory schedules.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
  • Replenish supplies across packaging, dispensing, and staging areas.
  • Respond quickly to equipment faults and workflow issues.
  • Use systems like Paxit Manager and Framework for order tracking.
  • Perform audits, packaging scans, and short-fill checks.
  • Stage and tote prescriptions with accurate labeling.
  • Assist with bulk dispensing, labeling, and "owes" processing.
  • Communicate delays and inventory needs to the team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the VA State Board of Pharmacy (good standing)
  • Minimum of one (1) year working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required

  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
  • Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
