About the Role (Job Summary)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead largescale distribution center operations during evening and overnight shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for driving outbound performance, service excellence, cost efficiency, and team engagement in a highvolume, automated warehouse environment. You will lead managers and frontline supervisors to ensure safe, accurate, and ontime order fulfillment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned to business objectives.

This role is ideal for leaders with deep distribution or warehouse operations experience who thrive in fastpaced, 24/7 environments and enjoy building highperforming teams.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Lead outbound operations across multiple shifts in a highvolume distribution center, with accountability for service levels, productivity, quality, and safety

  • Manage, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline teams to achieve operational and engagement goals

  • Drive performance against key operational metrics, including throughput, labor efficiency, cost, and customer service

  • Partner with crossfunctional teams (transportation, inventory, engineering, safety, HR) to ensure seamless execution

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, automation effectiveness, and waste reduction

  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

  • Foster a safetyfirst, inclusive, and accountable culture aligned with company values

  • Support workforce planning, staffing strategies, and succession development

  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies in a 24/7 distribution environment

Basic Requirements
  • Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience, including 1+ year(s) of supervisory and/or management experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with automated warehouse systems, Labor Management Systems (LMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

  • Strong working knowledge of operational KPIs, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies

  • Financial and data analysis skills, including labor forecasting and cost management

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve engagement, and develop future leaders

  • Strong communication, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills in fastpaced environments

  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite strongly preferred

Work Environment, Schedule & Physical Requirements
  • Onsite role in a distribution center environment

  • Evening and overnight schedule; flexibility required based on business needs in a 24/7 operation

  • Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods

  • Ability to use standard office equipment and technology, including laptops and mobile devices
