Job description

Weekly Pay | 35% Babylist Discount | Paid Holidays | Paid Healthcare Benefits

What The Role Is

Babylist is looking for a Kitting Operations Supervisor for our fulfillment center in Commercial Point, Ohio. This role owns the kitting line day-to-day - staffing it, running it, and making sure product assembly stays accurate, fast, and safe. You'll lead a team of warehouse associates dedicated to kitting and value-added services, and you'll be the person who knows that line better than anyone else in the building. This is a hands-on floor role, not a desk job.

Core hours for this role are on the Day Shift - Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM. As with any supervisor role, some buffer before and after for handoff is expected - this is standard, not overtime.

About Payย
We pay competitive market rates.

Starting salary for this position is $75,500 - $81,800 annually

Holidays Observed

The Fulfillment Center is closed on the following days for day shift in 2026:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Thanksgiving Day

All shifts receive 4 floating holidays in addition to the holidays observed, so you can celebrate what matters to you the most, whenever that may be.

Who You Are

  • Kitting Expert: You've directly run or supervised a kitting or assembly line - you know how to sequence stations, balance workloads, and keep product moving without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Process Builder: Able to write and implement SOPs for assembly workflows, and to spot where a process is bottlenecking before it becomes a bigger problem.
  • Experienced Leader: 5+ years managing people, with 3+ years specifically in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing assembly environments.
  • Data-Driven Problem Solver: Comfortable pulling and reading production data to diagnose throughput or quality issues - you don't guess, you check the numbers.
  • Tech-Savvy Professional: Experienced working in WMS or ERP systems to track kitting inventory, output, and staffing needs.
  • Employee Relations Aware: You've documented performance or conduct issues and partnered with HR when something needed to go further than a coaching conversation.
  • Safety-Focused: You treat safety as non-negotiable on a fast-moving assembly line, not an afterthought.

How You'll Make an Impactย

  • Run the kitting line day-to-day - staffing, sequencing, and quality checks across every shift you own.
  • Build and refine kitting SOPs so the line stays consistent even as volume and product mix change.
  • Monitor kitting output and accuracy metrics, and fix root causes when either one slips.
  • Train and coach a team of associates specifically on assembly and kitting workflows.
  • Flag and document employee relations issues on your line, escalating to HR when needed.
  • Partner with broader fulfillment leadership to keep kitting aligned with overall FC throughput goals.
  • Provide backup leadership coverage in other operational areas on an as-needed basis (e.g., covering for another supervisor's absence) infrequent, but part of being a flexible floor leader

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per shift) with scheduled breaks
  • Walk the floor extensively, averaging 10,000+ steps per day
  • Lift and move items up to 20 lbs regularly throughout the shift
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and repetitive motion
