Job description

Job Title: Fulfillment Analyst

Reports To: Lead Fulfillment Analyst

Department: Service Delivery

FLSA: Exempt

About us:

120Water is a mission-driven SaaS company helping government agencies and utilities protect public health and give communities confidence in their water. Our platform unifies water data in one place, enabling customers to easily manage compliance and streamline everything from sampling to community communication and public transparency.

We power critical initiatives like lead service line inventories, water quality and asset compliance, giving those responsible for water safety the tools they need to operate with clarity, precision, and speed.

At 120Water, we believe water is one of the world’s most important resources, and the work we do directly impacts communities across the country. We’re building a team of people who care deeply about solving complex problems, collaborating across disciplines, and using technology to drive meaningful impact.

A winning candidate will demonstrate 120Water core values:

  • People First

We have empathy for operators, appreciation for regulators, and a priority to serve public health. We treat all with respect, and communicate with clarity, candor and kindness.

  • Mission Guided

We are committed to delivering pragmatic software solutions that enable us to have an impact at scale. We move with purpose and priority in order to accelerate the mission.

  • Outcome Driven

We bring a team-first approach to deliver on our commitments to our customers. We strengthen our trusted-advisor status by doing what we say we’ll do.

Your Impact

120Water is seeking a dynamic and determined Fulfillment Analyst to support fulfillment operations of 120Water solutions. This person will deliver the highest level of customer service to our internal team members, external clients, and fulfillment partners.

This is a back-office, software-driven role. You'll spend your day in120Water's platform, Excel, and Word, not on a warehouse floor. Think order accuracy, vendor coordination, and process improvement, all from a desk.

What You'll Do

Order Documentation & Accuracy

  • Create order documents using 120Water's software, Excel, and Microsoft Word

  • Perform meticulous quality checks on all order documents, reviewing and verifying data to ensure total accuracy before processing orders

  • Maintain cost of goods sold and bill of materials lists

Fulfillment Coordination & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with warehouse and 120Water teams to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders

  • Troubleshoot shipping and fulfillment issues, with an emphasis on proactively resolving problems before they happen

  • Oversee 120Water's relationship with critical fulfillment partners and vendors

  • Monitor inventory levels and schedule product deliveries to maintain sufficient volume

Process Improvement & Team Collaboration

  • Support ad hoc reports and projects that streamline and automate key customer activities so operations can run at scale

  • Manage short-term and long-term goals and performance metrics in line with corporate objectives

  • Create a feedback loop to track and proactively identify gaps and challenges, and to develop strategies that improve the client lifecycle and support process

  • Collaborate with peers across marketing, customer sales, and product development to support client activity and share front-line feedback

  • Bring a flexible, team-first attitude and adapt as 120Water and client needs evolve

  • Embody 120Water's cultural values and lead by example

Location & Travel

This is an in-office or remote (Indianapolis-based) position, with occasional travel (twice a year or as needed) to coordinate fulfillment activities at 120Water's Chicago warehouse.

What You Won't Do

This role owns the paperwork and the process behind fulfillment, not the physical work inside the warehouse. You won't:

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks

  • Physically pick, pack, or palletize orders

  • Perform hands-on inventory counts or manual warehouse organization

  • Load or unload trucks or otherwise handle physical freight

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse floor operations or supervise warehouse staff

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of relevant order fulfillment coordination or experience within supply chain management

  • Experience with Extensiv or other inventory management systems is a plus

  • Confident Microsoft Word and Excel user

  • Detail-oriented and driven by a desire to get things done

  • Strong interpersonal skills and works well across multiple teams
