Job Summary
As a CDL- Field Technician, you’ll handle tank cleaning, pumping operations, inspections, and environmental services using vacuum trucks at various sites. Prioritize safety, compliance, and quality in a fast-paced Florida market—no fuel delivery required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate vacuum truck systems to extract liquids, sludge, residuals, or waste from tanks, separators, pits, storm drains, and petroleum infrastructure.
  • Conduct tank inspections, cleaning, gauging, and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Safely manage hoses, pumps, and equipment in field settings.
  • Perform vehicle/equipment checks, maintain logs, and document services accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer interactions to confirm job scopes and ensure safe execution.
  • Comply fully with DOT, hazmat, environmental, and site safety protocols.
  • Keep vehicles, tools, and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class B license (with airbrakes endorsement preferred; Tanker endorsement preferred; Hazmat a plus).
  • Acceptable driving record; pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • 1+ years in field service, commercial driving, or related work preferred (vacuum truck experience a strong plus).
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of vacuum/pumping systems and commitment to safety.
  • Able to work independently in hot/humid conditions.
  • Strong communication and detail-oriented approach.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
