Job description

This position requires knowledge of and experience, at a USAF air base, providing fuels management services to wing, tenant, and transient organizations. Must have 3 years' experience with Fuels Management for aviation and ground fuels owned by the Defense Logistics Agency-Energy (DLA-E), to include operating a Bulk Storage and Type III Hydrant Facility. Must have at least three (3) years' experience working in an Air Force Fuels Management function, military service or civilian equivalent, within the last ten (10) years; one (1) year in base level fuels operations, two (2) years in a managerial capacity, and have successfully completed the Petroleum Logistics Managers Course (PLMC).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead duties including, but not limited to:
  1. Manage a USAF fuels terminal
  2. Knowledge of and experience with managing a team with multiple functions
  3. Knowledge of HAZMAT.
  4. Knowledge of and experience with USAF petroleum product management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  1. Knowledge of USAF fuel terminals.
  2. Knowledge of and experience managing a team with multiple functions
  3. Knowledge of and experience with HAZMAT, safety and environmental rules and regulations at a DOD facility.

Minimum Job Requirements:
