About this opportunity

This seasonal position is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of liquid products to our customers on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of company delivery vehicles, assisting with delivery-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers.

What your role will look like

  • Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
  • Load and unload liquid fuel products safely from vehicle, which includes pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
  • Utilize web-based platforms on tablet, smart phone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
  • Support Easternโ€™s policies and procedures, including by maintaining required licensure, meeting state, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements, and complying with all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety by engaging in safety meetings, safety training, and safety refreshers, alerting supervisor to unsafe actions, and modeling safety-conscious practices.
  • Perform system checks, including leak checks, in accordance with Easternโ€™s SOPs and restart system appliances.
  • Install and maintain tank monitors, periodically and as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
