Spectra Logic is a dynamic company that truly values your unique skills. We provide a work environment that is both intellectually challenging and highly meaningful, all wrapped in a casual, supportive, and friendly team culture.
As our Quality Manager, you will be the ultimate champion of operational excellence, taking full ownership of our quality management system across the entire lifecycle of our complex electromechanical products. From early-stage, low-volume development through high-volume global scale-ups, you will embed best-practice foundations across our systems, workflows, and supplier partnerships. If you are an inspiring leader who loves driving a culture of proactive quality using robust, data-backed methodologies, we want to build the future with you.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Quality Ownership & Scaling
  • Champion the QMS: Own and continuously elevate our ISO 9001 quality management system, cultivating a team culture that is audit-ready and driven by exceptional documentation standards.
  • Scale the Infrastructure: Design and maintain a highly adaptable quality infrastructure capable of supporting products smoothly from prototype to high-rate manufacturing.
  • Lead Root Cause Investigations: Mastermind structured 8D investigations for internal variations, customer feedback, and supplier escapesโ€”steering cross-functional teams toward permanent, sustainable corrective actions.
  • Drive Engineering Changes (EC): Lead the EC process as a critical bridge between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, evaluating quality impacts to ensure everything is validated before hitting production.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven Leadership: 10+ years of progressive quality engineering or quality management experience thriving within a complex, hardware-heavy manufacturing environment.
  • System Scaling Expertise: Highly preferred experience scaling quality systems symmetrically alongside rapid production volume growth (from low-volume builds through high-rate manufacturing).
  • Technical & Analytical Mastery: Strong data-driven problem-solving mindset with advanced Excel proficiency (SQL or database experience is a major plus). Able to easily interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Science, or a closely related technical field.
