Job Summary
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional work with unwavering integrity? Step into the role of Bulk Fuels Storage Maintenance Technician and become an indispensable part of our team. In this pivotal position, you will be at the forefront of maintaining, modifying, and installing Automated Fueling System Equipment (AFHE) across various sites and projects worldwide. Your dedication will directly contribute to the seamless operations crucial for Global Readiness & Sustainment of the United States Military.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Efficient Time and Resource Management: Strategically direct and manage the allocation of time and provided resources to meet demanding schedules, ensuring adherence to both KBR and stakeholder standards for quality and value.
  • Documentation Management: Diligently maintain and track maintenance documents and deliverables, ensuring timely submission to management for review and approval.
  • Customer Site Coordination: Organize, schedule, and execute high-quality work at customer sites, maintaining a standard of excellence in service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, effectively engaging and collaborating with site personnel to achieve project objectives.
  • Install Industrial Control Systems: PLC panels (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), Control wiring (24VDC, 120VAC, analog, digital signals & modems, sensors, limit switches, encoders, HMI screens (Human-Machine Interfaces)
  • Troubleshoot Automation Equipment: PLC logic issues, faulty relays, sensors, or I/O modules, motor control problems, network or communication faults (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet).
  • Program or Modify Control Systems: Create or edit PLC ladder logic, function block, structured text, configure VFD parameters, update HMI graphics and process controls.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in supporting organizational needs.
  • Must be able to lift ±40 lbs
  • Must be able to climb stairs to access heights of 20' or greater
  • Must be able to perform physical duties such as kneeling, bending, and working in varied conditions to complete installations effectively.
  • Travel: This position has a 20% travel requirement.

Basic Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a NACLC security background check.
  • Strong electrical knowledge (often more advanced than standard electricians)
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting 3 phase and single phase AC circuits, low voltage DC control circuits and various communication protocols including Modbus RTU and TCP/IP.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain industrial network infrastructure including Ethernet and fiber optic networks
  • Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and verify control schematics, wiring diagrams, design drawings, P&IDs, ladder logic
  • Proficient with the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment i.e. multimeters, process calibrators, and instrumentation calibration (pressure, flow, temp, level).
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital technology.
  • Understanding of NEC code and NFPA 70e & mechanical aptitudes (pneumatics, hydraulics)
  • Computer and Microsoft Windows proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference for current possession of a government CAC.
  • Active or previous security clearance preferred.
  • Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems is a plus
