Job description

Position Overview

Wexford Hilton Head is seeking a full-time Landscaper to join our team. This role supports the maintenance and upkeep of our community’s common areas and golf course grounds. Various shifts are available, including weekends.

Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment.


Essential Responsibilities

The Landscaper is responsible for performing routine grounds maintenance and assisting with landscape construction projects. This includes operating hand tools and light equipment to maintain the overall appearance of Wexford’s property.


Primary Duties
  • Operate mowers and string trimmers to maintain common areas, trees, fence lines, banks, and cart paths
  • Remove debris, maintain flower beds, and repair divots
  • Monitor and maintain fuel and fluid levels for equipment; report any issues promptly
  • Clean and return equipment to designated storage areas
  • Assist with watering, fertilizing, and (under supervision) applying chemicals
  • Assist with landscaping projects such as grading, sod installation, and seeding
  • Help with irrigation repairs including trenching and pipe replacement
  • Operate light equipment such as mowers and small trucks as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and materials
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to operate light motorized equipment
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Schedule
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shift
  • Monday through Friday
  • Weekend availability required
