Fuel Handlers are professionals responsible for safely managing, transporting, and storing various types of fuel, such as gasoline, diesel, or aviation fuel. They ensure that fuel is transferred efficiently between storage tanks and vehicles or equipment while following strict safety and environmental regulations. Their duties may also include inspecting fuel storage facilities, monitoring fuel quality, and responding to spills or emergencies. Fuel Handlers are employed in industries like aviation, transportation, and energy, where safe fuel management is critical.

What are some common safety protocols fuel handlers must follow during daily operations?

This includes wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), completing safety checklists before handling fuel, and following detailed guidelines for storage, transfer, and disposal of fuel. Regular training and drills on spill response, fire prevention, and equipment handling are also part of the role. Adhering to these protocols helps maintain a safe work environment and protects both personnel and the facility.
