Position Summary
JRP is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate daily fuel delivery operations and ensure customer orders are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, delivery schedules, fueling windows, truck availability, and short-term operational changes while maintaining clear communication with drivers, management, and Sales.
The Dispatcher will support daily and weekend delivery operations, monitor delivery performance, manage driver schedules and overtime, and respond to after-hours operational needs.

Compensation Range
$55,000-$65,000 based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily driver schedules, delivery windows, workload, and overtime to support efficient operations.
  • Manage customer open orders and ensure deliveries are scheduled and completed on time.
  • Plan around short-term changes in driver availability, truck availability, and customer demand.
  • Coordinate shift accounts, including delivery schedules, fueling requirements, gallons, and new business.
  • Prepare and communicate daily driver assignments and work schedules for upcoming deliveries.
  • Provide backup coordination for JRP deliveries across assigned markets.
  • Communicate fueling points, delivery priorities, and schedule changes to drivers and operational teams.
  • Monitor deliveries by truck and customer and identify open fueling windows and opportunities to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Produce driver and delivery performance metrics in partnership with Transportation leadership.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance needs and communicate truck availability concerns.
  • Manage after-hours calls and serve as part of the rotating on-call team, including weekend coverage.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with Drivers, Sales, Operations, and Management to resolve delivery issues and meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
  • 1โ€“5 years of petroleum, fuel distribution, transportation, logistics, or related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience coordinating or supporting a driver or transportation team preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule

  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computer systems throughout the workday.
