Jones Covey Group, Inc. is a full-service fuel system contractor specializing in above and underground fuel systems for retail, commercial and government clients. JCGI is a national industry leader in fuel systems, fuel service stations, convenience stores, car washes, fuel facility service and environmental compliance nationally, providing services to Fortune 100 clients, major oil companies, distributors, fleet services, and local, state and federal agencies.

  • Obtain daily work assignments from dispatcher, using computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) such as MobileTech or ServiceMax.
  • Drive company service vehicle to customer locations, frequently on a prescribed route.
  • Prepare the workspace at the customer location to assure safe performance of inspection activities.
  • Perform advanced inspections, testing, equipment certification, and maintenance tasks on various mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Accurately enter test and certification results into application such as PASS or Titan using regulator or customer specified form.
  • Satisfactorily maintain company vehicle, parts inventory and testing equipment.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to Compliance Inspectors and Compliance Technicians.


Requirements:
  • Possess high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background screening, and motor vehicle record check.
  • Candidate must demonstrate proficiency with basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.), and ability to learn industry-specific software applications.
  • Must be able to work independently without constant direct supervision.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, fellow team members and supervisors.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ work experience with petroleum related equipment.
  • Successful candidates shall possess or complete the following:
  • API Safety Certification (during onboarding).
  • Class A and Class B Operator certifications for the state(s) in which they operate via online course within 30 days of employment.
  • PEI RP-300, RP-900 & RP-1200 online training within 45 days of employment.
  • JF Petro Group Service Training NTO (New to the Organization) and NTI (New to the Industry) courses within 90 days of employment.
  • Tank monitor manufacturer’s level 2/3 courses.
  • Tank, line, line leak detector and air testing certifications from equipment manufacturer and regulatory agency as required.
  • Preferred candidates would possess additional manufacturer courses including but not limited to Red Jacket, Franklin Fueling, OPW, EMCO, Healy, etc.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
