Job description

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The primary daily responsibility is performing Quality Control testing of products for the presence of biomolecules and performing microbiological techniques involved in sterility testing, including specific activities such as:
  • Sample collection in a clean room environment both for production samples and environmental monitoring.
  • Bio-contaminant testing includes testing for Endotoxin, DNase, RNase, DNA, ATP, Protein and Protease.
  • Conduct work using equipment such as spectrophotometers, microplate readers, Quantitative PCR equipment, pipettes and other laboratory bench top equipment.
  • Microbiological work includes inoculation, handling of live bacteria and fungi, bioburden testing, sterility assurance testing and media preparation.
  • Conduct FT-IR and GC-MS analysis, conduct statistical analysis, assist in management of laboratory supply stock, & optimize protocols.
  • Perform ISO9001 audits and various other Quality Assurance tasks.

What You Need to Succeed
  • BS degree in Biology or Chemistry or equivalent, in education and experience. (Molecular and/or Microbiology background highly desirable
  • Experience with data systems.
  • Experience in molecular biology laboratory testing protocols.
  • Experience in Cleanroom Environments
