Job description

Overview:
Role: ServiceNow Tester - ITSM / ITOM / FSM (FedRAMP-Compliant Environment)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, ITOM, and/or FSM modules.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts aligned to business and technical requirements.
• Validate ServiceNow workflows, configurations, integrations, and customizations to ensure accuracy, stability, and performance.
• Ensure testing activities comply with FedRAMP security, compliance, and documentation requirements applicable to the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Platform Architects to understand requirements and identify test coverage needs.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using standard defect management processes and tools.
• Support end-to-end testing cycles, including system testing, integration testing, UAT support, and production validation.
• Validate role-based access, data security, and controls as part of testing in regulated environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews from a QA perspective.
• Provide test status reports, defect metrics, and quality insights to project and program stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Tester / QA Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of one or more ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, and/or FSM.
• Experience testing ServiceNow workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, integrations, and reports.
• Understanding of FedRAMP or similar regulated/compliant environments, with awareness of security and audit considerations during testing.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
• Strong defect management, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and platform administrators.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience testing ServiceNow in FedRAMP-authorized or government-regulated environments.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Exposure to testing integrations with third-party tools and external systems.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and how they are implemented within ServiceNow.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS (ITSM/ITOM/FSM) or equivalent testing certifications.
• Experience supporting large enterprise or multi-vendor ServiceNow programs.
