The Role Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and enhance complex software systems, ranging from processing-intensive analytics to real-time systems and large-scale data manipulation. Working individually or as a team lead, you will analyze user requirements to derive software design, debug existing code, and integrate software into new operating environments. You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, including hardware/software trade-offs, COTS/GOTS integration, and the implementation of complex algorithms to meet strict performance standards. Base compensation ranges from 195k to 225k with a compelling benefits package for qualified candidates. What You'll Bring Experience: Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field). Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree (18 years total). Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development and design methodologies, algorithm development, and database/data repository interface design.
