Summary
The IT Intern will work within our information technology department and gain experience related to Desktop Support Analyst / Technician roles. They will assist the IT team primarily with desktop support, bug fixes, and basic system integration projects.
This is a full-time internship and will work from our Arlington, MA office Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft 365
  • Provide hands-on assistance with workstation setups, office moves, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Assist the Desktop Support Team with resolving end user submitted support tickets
  • Wipe laptops and tower computers for recycling or returning to third-party warehousing and imaging vendor
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware assets
  • Draft knowledgebase articles to capture and record institutional knowledge
  • Suggest improvements to workflows and standard operating procedures

Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in either a bachelor's or master's degree program in information technology or a related field.
  • The ability to work as part of a team is a must.
  • Must have a valid driver license as local travel might be required.
  • High degree of end user customer service ability, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior working experience in the financial service sector is a plus.
  • Capable of asking questions.
  • Great communication skills are essential.
  • Detail-oriented; capable of following instructions set forth by the bank's procedure and process.
  • Working towards an associate or bachelor's degree in information technology.
  • Certification in Windows Operating Systems a plus.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Leader Bank salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
Salary Minimum: 45,760.00 - Salary Max: 47,840.00
The range listed is just one component of Leader Bank's total compensation package for team members. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, commissions, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
