Overview
Frontwave is seeking a leader with a broad skill set that includes implementation of all marketing programs, product/service offers, campaign/promotions, member, and employee communication, and maintain organizational consistency of brand and marketing guidelines. This role is critical to the brand's success in building positive, long-term, and meaningful relationships by making emotional connections with our members, employees, and community partners.
The Marketing Communications Manager will execute and implement effective marketing and communications programs for Frontwave Credit Union's products and services. This role will optimize marketing efforts to keep Frontwave Credit Union top-of-mind by acquiring and retaining engaged members while also deepening relationships with new and existing membership through product and service acquisition. The Marketing Communications Manager will perpetuate the brand through relevant, timely and compelling communication that builds affinity and causes people to act.

Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Frontwave Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Manage best-in-class marketing and communication strategies aimed at driving top-of-mind awareness.
  • Assist the Vice President of Marketing with the development of marketing tactical plans, programs, and accompanying budgets.
  • Oversee the development of appropriate marketing programs and tools designed to extend the Frontwave brand and build emotional connections with members, employees, and the community.
  • Manage the execution of marketing communications, namely member journeys, newsletter articles, online materials, promotional/campaign materials, promotional items, press releases, internal communications in support of Frontwave's marketing communications strategies that
  • effectively describe and promote the organization and its products and services.
  • Manage lead generation/demand generation efforts utilizing and integrated marketing approach with digital and traditional channels. Promote agility and scalability through digital marketing and continuous leaning from innovative approaches.
  • Provide oversight, support, and direction to the Marketing Communications support team to ensure the timely and accurate execution of tasks and projects.
  • Assist with managing the relationship with media agencies and other strategic partners when needed.
  • Assist with paid traditional and digital media program including OOH, programmatic, retargeting, social, and search.
  • Monitor programs to ensure budget guidelines and production goals are met.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement modern traditional and online marketing opportunities designed to drive Member (consumer and business) growth through acquisition, retention, and overall portfolio growth.
  • Serve as the department subject matter expert in standing and/or ad hoc cross functional team committees as requested to support Frontwave' s goals and objectives. Initiate and support ideas, projects, and product enhancements.
  • Develop and present department communications to cross-functional groups including, but not limited to, leadership teams.
  • Partner with the Marketing Analyst to refine, implement, and execute marketing KPIs and ROI.

RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EMPLOYMENT, COACHING, EVALUATION, TRAINING, MOTIVATION AND DISCIPLINE OF ASSIGNED PERSONNEL
  • Supervises staff in accordance with credit union policies and applicable laws.
  • Schedules, prepares, and conducts employment interviews and recommendations personnel for hire following standard hiring procedures. May be responsible for applicant pre-screening process.
  • Ensures that performance evaluations are prepared and presented to the employee in a timely manner.
  • Monitors, maintains, and documents accurate records for hours worked, overtime hours, and time off.
  • Reviews, approves, and submits time sheets biweekly for payroll processing.
  • Plans and conducts regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Organizes, prepares, and conducts training sessions on credit union policies and procedures.
  • Motivates staff using incentives, themes, and promotional methods.
  • Coaches, counsels, and disciplines staff through verbal or written communication.
  • Assigns duties and organizes cross-training of jobs.
  • Acts as a liaison with staff members to resolve conflicts.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field, including Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
7+ years marketing communications experience to include creative and content development
3+ years' experience working with marketing agencies, media buyers, public relations, and digital marketing.
3+ years' supervisory experience
Experience with event marketing, experiential marketing, and retail merchandising
Well-developed project management skills with knowledge of campaign development process including familiarity with all types of marketing communications from print to digital.
Preferred Education and Experience:
3+ years' experience in financial services
Marketing agency, creative direction, and/or designer experience
Experience working in world-class hospitality or consumer brands
Salary Range: $92,699.77 - $139,049.66
