Frontline Recovery information

What is a frontline recovery?

A Frontline Recovery worker is a professional who assists individuals recovering from substance abuse, mental health crises, or other challenging life situations. They provide direct support, guidance, and resources to help clients rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society. These workers often collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to ensure clients receive comprehensive care. Their goal is to empower individuals to achieve long-term recovery and improve their overall well-being.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a frontline recovery specialist?

To thrive as a Frontline Recovery Specialist, you need strong problem-solving abilities, negotiation skills, and a foundational understanding of financial and debt management, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant experience. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, debt collection software, and compliance protocols is typically required. Excellent communication, resilience, and empathy are crucial soft skills for engaging with clients and handling difficult conversations. These skills and qualities are essential for successfully recovering debts while maintaining positive client relationships and adhering to regulatory standards.

What are some common challenges faced by frontline recovery professionals, and how can they effectively manage them?

Frontline Recovery professionals often encounter emotionally charged situations, high workloads, and the need to balance empathy with assertiveness. They may work with individuals experiencing significant distress, which can be challenging and requires strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams helps share insights and support, while regular training and self-care practices are essential to maintain resilience and prevent burnout. Staying informed about best practices and utilizing available resources can greatly improve job satisfaction and effectiveness.

Frontline Recovery roles focus on assisting individuals during recovery processes, often involving non-emergency support and specialized recovery procedures. EMTs are trained emergency responders providing immediate medical care in urgent situations. While both roles operate in emergency settings, EMTs have specific medical certifications and focus on pre-hospital emergency care, whereas Frontline Recovery roles may emphasize post-incident support and recovery assistance.

Client Relations Claims Manager (On-Site)

$90-$110K commensurate with experience

Frontline Road Safety Group is the undisputed North American pavement marking leader. Our company proudly provides its customers with unparalleled customer service and the use of innovative technology to ensure timely and value-added results. In our time of growth, we are seeking dedicated and talented individuals to add to our team. We are seeking a Client Relations Claims Manager to add to our HQ team. This is an on-site position, working in our downtown Denver headquarters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client Relations Claims Manager serves as the primary liaison between all Frontline Road Safety Group divisions and our insurance carriers. Partnering with our operating companies and their leadership, safety, and HR teams, the Manager triages the needs of the businesses, our employees, and Frontline Road Safety Group as a wholeโ€”driving claims to resolution as quickly and as accurately as possible while protecting the companyโ€™s financial interests.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between all Frontline divisions and our insurance carriers, coordinating claim management across multiple carriers and claims portals.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop one direct report, a Claims Specialist.
  • Own claims follow-up and follow-through from first notice of loss through final resolution, ensuring every file is processed as quickly and as accurately as possible.
  • Oversee the intake and processing of insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage.
  • Drive cost savings for the business through diligent claims management, reserve oversight, and timely, well-supported settlements.
  • Communicate with injured employees on a routine basis to advocate for their recovery.
  • Manage the companyโ€™s accommodation of restrictions through our Return-to-Work Program.
  • Communicate with medical providers to ensure medical treatment is progressing as needed for the injured employeeโ€™s recovery.
  • Administer and maintain third-party administrator (TPA) and carrier systems, including site structures, user setup, and system training.
  • Coordinate claims across multiple jurisdictions, including states with specific regulatory requirements and monopolistic workersโ€™ compensation states.
  • Manage self-insured retention (SIR) obligations and varying coverage provisions across the program.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to ensure complete and thorough claim settlements, legal reviews, and investigations in accordance with company policies and insurance industry regulations.
  • Assure timely and proper disposition of claims based on policy provisions.
  • Manage the negotiation of settlements and administration of claims in litigation.
  • Identify intentional fraud and falsified documents.
  • Escalate key issues to claims management contacts and specialists.
  • Complete required coverage training and pursue continuing education to remain current on emerging laws and other changes to insurance-related processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling multiple lines of business including Auto, General Liability, and Workersโ€™ Compensation, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Experience supporting a construction, field-based, or comparable operational environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple divisions in a remote environment.
  • Proven ability to manage claims from first notice of loss through final resolution, including litigated files.
  • Experience working directly with insurance carriers and third-party administrators (TPAs), including carrier portals and claims management systems.
  • Experience with Sedgwick claims systems (viaOne) is a major plus.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state claims handling, including monopolistic workersโ€™ compensation states and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
  • Familiarity with self-insured retention (SIR) programs and varying coverage provisions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills across internal divisions, carriers, medical providers, and employees.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud and escalate issues to the appropriate specialists.
  • Prior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred, with the ability to develop a direct report.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a high volume of claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Relevant industry certifications and/or a demonstrated commitment to continuing education in insurance and claims management.
