Pay: $18 - $22 hr

How You Will Make a Difference
  • Conduct frequent safety rounds, behavioral observations, and assigned 1:1 monitoring, accurately documenting patient behaviors, needs, and interventions.
  • Facilitate and support therapeutic groups and structured activities, including coping skills, grounding techniques, recreation, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Collaborate closely with RNs during patient crises, utilizing verbal de-escalation, redirection, and established team response protocols to maintain safety.
  • Assist with patient admissions and intakes, including belongings inventory, vital signs, unit orientation, and completion of required documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and therapeutic environment while consistently enforcing unit and visitor policies.
  • Collaborate with rounding providers and the daytime interdisciplinary team to communicate patient needs, address concerns, and support the progression of individualized care plans.
  • Assist with discharge preparation and ensure safe, organized transitions of care, including clear and accurate handoffs to evening and night-shift teams.
  • Promote a supportive, respectful, and patient-centered environment throughout the day while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

• High school diploma/GED required; some college or STNA/EMT experience preferred.
• Age 21+; ability to stand/walk for long periods and assist with lifts/transfers as needed.
• Empathy, consistency, and clear communication.
