Senior Director of Media

What we’re seeking:

You’ll lead media strategy, planning, buying, and execution for the consumer organization, including managing the company's nine-figure annual media budget, and the agencies that help deploy our media investments. The role serves as the nucleus of our customer acquisition strategy, our media and creative testing initiatives, and are day-to-day optimization efforts. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX to complete your work responsibilities.

You have managed, inspired, and rallied large, diverse teams with clear vision and leadership. 

You’re a proven leader who will be responsible for driving the Frontier’s media strategy. You will build and foster strong media partnerships with our media agencies and platform partners to achieve best-in-class media processes and governance. You will collaborate with internal cross-market and sector stakeholders to ensure that Frontier is leveraging the latest media Adtech and Martech technologies towards achieving our business goals. 

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement a transformative media strategy that aligns with Frontier’s overall marketing objectives of driving demand and unleashing unprecedented revenue growth. 

• Oversees media agency relationships, relentlessly driving overall performance and output 

• Builds and manages strategic partnerships with media partners and vendors. 

• Identifies media and marketing innovation white spaces: Delivers new tools and platforms to bring to life overall media model evolution (across TV, mobile, digital, programmatic, etc. 

• Leads ongoing long-term and short-term strategy, planning, optimization, and reporting of media performance across funnel stages and audiences to meet and exceed annual targets 

• Led cross-functional teams to test and roll out new, innovative strategies and tactics to improve conversion 

• Oversees agency and publishing partner media campaign strategy, execution, return-on-ad-spend (ROAS), and led quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key partners

What background you should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 15+ years of media strategy or media agency management experience required; knowledge of the telecom industry is preferred, and an MBA is a plus 

• Media expert, with a track record of understanding and driving the media value-chain process 

• Well-aware of the MarTech / AdTech ecosystem (of different tech/platforms, data, general economics (fees, pricing models, etc.)) together with good industry relationship 

• Complex problem solver who can define, assess, solve, and decisively communicate back to leadership clearly and concisely Self-starter, able to work independently and build connections with key stakeholders 

• Entrepreneurial, intellectually curious, with an aptitude for creative problem-solving. 

• Have a strong sense of accountability, take ownership of outcomes and team performance; you set a bar in terms of pace, and intellectual rigor of our planning process, and have strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills 

• Analytical with a KPI-orientated mindset, able to drive decisions using data 

• Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing turnaround environment, with a “roll up the sleeves” mindset, and drive to accomplish what is necessary 

• Challenge the status quo, with a desire and tenacity to test innovative customer solutions 

• Can articulate a vision that inspires and motivates cross-functional teams to deliver against it and you innovate by bringing together diverse individuals with varied experiences and perspectives to solve problems
