Job description

Veterinary Receptionist –Full or part time position. DePorre Veterinary Hospital is a multi-doctor; AAHA accredited veterinary hospital located in Bloomfield Hills. We are a fast paced hospital looking for a quick learner that works well with a team and is able to prioritize and multi-task well.
Requirements of this position are the following:
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in retail/restaurant/professional setting.
  • Clear and concise communicator.
  • Ability to anticipate client needs.
  • Experience using multi-line phones, computer proficient and able to use basic office equipment.
  • Ability to work days (open from 7:15 am-6:00 pm Monday-Friday and some Saturdays (7:15 am-2:00 pm).
  • Veterinary experience a plus.
  • The ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Answering phone calls, making appointments, checking in/out clients.
  • Providing exceptional customer service.
  • Processing communications regarding patients.
  • Efficiently and accurately invoice clients (exams, surgeries, hospital stays, medications).
  • Client education.
  • Light cleaning.
