We are seeking a Web & Systems Developer to support the design, management, and continuous enhancement of USAFCOEFS web properties, portals, and digital platforms (WPDAP). This role ensures secure, high-performing, and user-friendly solutions aligned with mission objectives.  The Web & Systems Developer will contribute to modernizing web platforms, enhancing data-driven capabilities, and maintaining secure, scalable systems across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and closed restricted networks. The ideal candidate brings expertise in web development, Microsoft ecosystems, data visualization, and secure government IT environments.


Provide end-to-end IT and Knowledge Management support across enterprise networks and mission systems, including infrastructure, web services, data platforms, user support, and continuous modernization to ensure secure, resilient, and uninterrupted operations.


Key Responsibilities

1. Web & Platform Engineering

  • Design, develop, and sustain enterprise web platforms, portals, and digital assets, including:
  • Internal and external websites aligned with mission objectives 
  • SharePoint environments (sites, permissions, libraries, lists, workflows, templates) 
  • Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) 
  • Web-based applications, APIs, and automated workflows 
  • Engineer scalable, user-centered solutions that ensure:
  • Section 508 accessibility compliance 
  • Consistency across domains and platforms 
  • Alignment with DoD cybersecurity and Army G-6 standards 
  • Develop and maintain:
  • Blogs, RSS/news feeds, and multimedia integrations 
  • Data visualizations and dashboards 
  • Integration with government and commercial tools 


2. Product Development & Innovation

  • Agile Engineering & System Support:
  • Support full lifecycle development (design, build, test, deploy, sustainment) 
  • Modernize legacy systems and enhance portal functionality 
  • Develop reusable, maintainable code and workflows 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions 
  • AI, Automation & Data Capabilities:
  • Support AI-enabled solutions for workflow automation and decision support 
  • Implement data management and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Advana) 
  • Integrate emerging technologies within approved environments 
  • Ensure governance, auditability, and compliance of automated systems 

3. Analytics & Performance

  • Implement and manage analytics solutions to measure:
  • User engagement and adoption 
  • System performance and  availability 
  • Operational effectiveness 
  • Develop:
  • Dashboards and reporting solutions for leadership 
  • Data models and visualizations for decision-making 
  • Continuous improvement strategies based on metrics 

4. DevSecOps, Cybersecurity & Operations

  • Support secure and reliable system operations by:
  • Enforcing cybersecurity and information assurance policies (RMF, NIST) 
  • Supporting secure deployments and system configurations 
  • Maintaining system availability across enterprise networks 
  • Performing troubleshooting and rapid issue resolution (4-hour response / 8-hour resolution SLA) 
  • Ensure:
  • Continuous monitoring, logging, and compliance 
  • Secure integration across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and CRN environments 
  • Coordination with cybersecurity and compliance teams 

5. User Support & Collaboration

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for web and IT services 
  • Provide technical support to USAFCOEFS, tenant units, and stakeholders 
  • Coordinate with content owners to develop and publish web content 
  • Provide guidance on design, usability, and technology implementation 
  • Maintain daily activity logs and submit monthly reports

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • DoD Secret clearance
  • IAT II
  • Experience in web development, systems administration, or related field 
  • Proficiency with: 
  • Microsoft 365 Suite 
  • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) 
  • SharePoint administration 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Vantage, Advana) 
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs) 
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and information assurance standards 
  • Experience with workflow automation and process optimization 
  • Strong troubleshooting and user support skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet SLA requirements 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in DoD or government environments 
  • Familiarity with AI tools and integration 
  • Graphic design experience (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) 
  • Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility compliance
