Job Summary:
Evans & Chambers Technology is seeking a highly motivated Web Developer (UX/UI) to join our team! The role involves developing and maintaining web-based applications with a focus on user-friendly design while collaborating with customers and the development team to gather requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintain the system application with a focus on user-friendly design and functionality. Designs, creates, tests, and maintains software and web-based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements
• Interacts with customers and development team to gather and define requirements.
• Implement UI/UX design to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Utilize CI/CD practices to automate testing and deployment processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills.
• Proven experience in front-end technologies and tools such as Angular, HTML, CSS, Visual Studio Code, JavaScript, and XML.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Gitlab.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Active Security+ Certification
• Security clearance status of TS/SCI with a CI polygraph test, must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA
• Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2, experience working on a development team under
• DoD/DIA DevSecOps process, understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS based architecture
• High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience
• Associates Degree with 10 years of experience
• Bachelors’ Degree with 8 years of experience
• Masters’ Degree with 6 years of experience
• PhD with 4 years of experience
Preferred:
• Experience with back-end technologies such as CGI, Node, Python, and PGAdmin or PostgreSQL
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or computer science and eight years of comparable work experience.
• Desired skills include up to ten or more years of program/application operations experience.
• Prefer candidates who have experience in the Intelligence Community.
• Candidate must be analytical and effectively able to prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues.
• Prospective candidates should have strong risk management skills, excellent communication, teamwork and conflict management skills.
