Job Summary:
TEKFORTUNE INC is seeking a Front End Developer to join their agile squad in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves designing and implementing software solutions, collaborating with other engineers, and ensuring high-quality technical products and applications.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and implement new features while continuously improving quality of technical products and applications
โ€ข Provide technical knowledge and leadership as a developer on an agile squad
โ€ข Work collaboratively with other software engineers to define system architectures and design solutions
โ€ข Develop software meeting code quality standards and metrics
โ€ข Practice test-driven development
โ€ข Participate in communities of practice by contributing to and following standards, reviewing others code, and sharing knowledge
โ€ข Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and writing maintainable, supportable, and testable code
โ€ข Maintain effective partnerships with operations and engineering teams to drive service improvement
โ€ข Remain current on IT trends pertaining to their area of practice
โ€ข Assist with problem resolution for end users and customers
โ€ข Contribute to the definition of operational procedures for software development
โ€ข Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance of audit requirements
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 5+ years of experience
โ€ข Knowledge of object-oriented and functional software design
โ€ข Proficient in developing reusable common component libraries
โ€ข Familiarity with RESTful networking
โ€ข Prior experience with knowledge of Git and GitHub
โ€ข Understanding of Software Development Methodologies

โ€ข Experience with Unit Testing in Jasmine/Karma

โ€ข Strong preference for experience with design system tools and principles such as color and design tokens, Style Dictionary, and Storybook
โ€ข Ideal candidate has some experience in Node scripting, Jenkins pipeline configuration, front end artifact publishing and versioning, and Spring Boot services
