Job description

Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor

Department: Rooms Management

Position Reports to: Front Office Manager

Property: Homewood Suites

BASIC JOB FUNCTION:

Provide exceptional guest service through efficient management of Front Office team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates the exceptionally friendly, professional and seamless reception, registration, and account settlement for all hotel guests.

Demonstrates the ability to effectively interact, coordinate and communicate through daily pre-shift meetings with all associates in high guest impact departments to ensure a smooth arrival through departure experience for all guests.

Ensures that exceptional levels of guest service is being provided to guests and Atrium standards are being applied.

Evaluates individual associate performance, determining improvement and training needs and advancement requirements.

Demonstrates knowledge of all services/features, hours of operations, room types, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures, room availability status, scheduled in-house group activities to anticipate and respond to guest inquiries promptly and accurately.

Assists in ensuring accurate communication of information to guests regarding all hotel facilities and operating hours.

Maintains confidentiality of guest information and follow proper protocol to secure and protect pertinent data.

Assists with the development and management of repeat guest and VIP service programs.

Performs any other job related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

2-4 years of experience in Front Office or Guest Services

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
