About The Role:
Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Frontend Developer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio reporting to the Manager of Software Engineering. As a Sr. Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex front-end features for medical device applications. You will collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, product managers, regulatory teams, and UX/UI designers to deliver high-quality software solutions. The candidate will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. The Sr. Frontend Developer will contribute to architectural decisions, technology selection, and frontend best practices.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Architects develop and maintains complex front-end components and features using a variety of technologies.
  • Performs code reviews and ensures adherence to best practices.
  • Optimizes front-end performance, scalability, and security.
  • Leads the implementation of new front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ensures compliance with medical device regulations, security standards, and industry best practices.
  • Works closely with regulatory teams to ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborates with UX/UI designers to design intuitive and efficient user workflows while leading the frontend development efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We Would Love To Hear From You, If:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in front-end development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, multiple front-end frameworks. Experience with C# and WPF is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of front-end architecture, design pattern, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with performance optimization, testing methodologies, and secure coding practices.
  • Previous experience in a regulated industry (medical device industry experience is a plus).
  • Ability to mentor junior developers, foster collaboration, and drive technical excellence within the team.

  • Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote per week
