Job Description Summary

Provide administrative coverage at the front desk for the Summerville Pediatric Specialty Clinic and Afterhours Clinic. Responsibilities include monitoring answering phones, checking in patients, and scheduling appointments.
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Weekends and Holidays: 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

This position follows a rotating schedule consisting of three shifts that change weekly, with a requirement to work every third weekend.

Example rotation:

  • Week 1: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • Week 2: Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

  • Week 3: Tuesday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., plus Saturday and Sunday

Additional Job Description

High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred. Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.
