Front Desk Coordinator
Addison/Bloomingdale Area
Bright Direction Dental is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full-Time Front Desk Coordinator to join our team! In this position you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office, support team members and ensure smooth and efficient patient experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail- oriented and confident in scheduling, presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily front office operations.
  • Participate in training and onboarding new front desk team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all front office policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient questions and concerns.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments based on provider availability.
  • Manage appointment reminders, cancellations, rescheduling, and recall appointments.
  • Follow up on unscheduled treatment plans to support case acceptance and schedule utilization.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and oversee patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to treatment.
  • Submit and track insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims as needed.
  • Manage billing, accounts receivable, and collection efforts, including aged receivables.
  • Participate in fostering a positive, professional, and patient-focused office environment.

Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday
  • 1 Saturday per month

Compensation:
  • $22-24/hr

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a dental front desk role required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Physical Requirements:
