Job description

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Clerk to join our team at our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, ensuring that guests receive a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
Managing and receiving reservations made online or by phone.
Verifying guests' payment methods during check-in.
Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any special offers or promotions.
Providing guests with information about the hotel and local attractions.
Serving as a host at conferences and events held at the hotel.
Maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
Communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff to ensure guests' needs are met.
Communicating with staff on the previous shift to manage guests' arrivals and reservations.
Doing laundry when necessary.
Requirements:
High school qualification or equivalent.
Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Well-presented and professional appearance.
Competency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to learn on the job.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be punctual and reliable.
