Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Conduct in-home assessments and ensure that patient care meets regulatory and company standards.
  • Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
  • Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all home care cases.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements Must Haves:

  • Required: Active RN License โ€“ Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.
  • Required: CPR Certification
  • Preferred: Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance
  • Clinical Experience โ€“ At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
  • IV Infusion Therapy Expertise โ€“ Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition) with minimum 2-3 years of experience
  • Wound Care - Provide wound care including dressing changes, infection prevention, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound VAC management)
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
  • Flexibility & Availability: Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to emergencies

Nice to Haves:

  • Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience: Familiarity with BrightStar Care's business model is a plus
  • Sales & Business Development Mindset: Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners
