Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and versatile telecommunication RAN Systems Engineer to join our team. This is not a traditional feature-definition role; instead, it requires a highly skilled professional capable of tackling complex challenges across system engineering, design, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cellular technologies and a passion for innovation in satellite network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debug and resolve field issues related to RAN systems and satellite network integration.
  • Guide and support testing teams during validation and deployment phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define upcoming solutions for SAT network architecture.
  • Participate in system-level design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Provide technical leadership in RF and lower-layer protocol analysis.
  • Document processes, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in communication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years as a System Engineer and at least 5 years in the telecommunications industry.
  • Deep familiarity and understanding of Cellular standards: 4G and/or 5G 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with satellite communication systems.
  • Familiarity with advanced RAN optimization techniques.
  • Certifications in cellular technologies or RF engineering. 

Soft Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and deliverables.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities under tight deadlines. 

Technology Stack:

  • Cellular standards: 4G/5G
  • System engineering and design tools
  • RF analysis tools
  • Lower-layer protocol understanding 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a standard office environment and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasional travel may be required for field testing and integration support.
