Job description

Standard Job Description
Provides analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
This role is with Lockheed Martin's Enterprise Operation Protective Intelligence team which supports Lockheed's Executive Protection, Counterintelligence, and Global Security missions. This role will provide key insights to senior leadership by conducting open-source, risk-based reviews for security related concerns. The role requires preparing concise, high-level, assessments for various internal and external stakeholders. A successful candidate will work under guidance from senior analysts, joint teams, and working groups to achieve a variety of goals. Prospective candidates should have experience in gathering and assessing raw intelligence, building trends, geopolitical research, and understand risk-mitigation processes for security related disciplines
Basic Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or 3-4-years of relevant work experience in the Intelligence Community, Protective Intelligence, or 24/7 Security operations.
Certification, relevant experience, or education/training with Open-Source Intelligence methodology, collection, and assessment.
Experience/education with Insider threat, workplace violence, work-place investigations, Counterintelligence, or Human Intelligence.
Knowledge of Personal protection details, privacy issues, operational security, and physical security methodologies.
Desired Skills
• At least 2 years of professional experience or 4 years of education in one or more of the following: Security, 24/7 operations, protection details, physical security, Intelligence, Security Research, or Social Media information gathering.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media listening tools, social media information gathering, dark-web or deep-web information gathering and assessment, basic cyber security related knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft related applications, data analysis tools, Linux or Python scripting, and other conventional data management techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to produce clear, concise briefs for senior officials.
• Knowledge of, or work in, geopolitics or international relations
• Exposure to Protective Intelligence and Executive Protection environments (i.e., Internships, law enforcement, military, or corporate security).
